Signs can sometimes be confusing in Addis Abeba. This pedestrian walkway is closed off by a sign that reads, “Parking Not Allowed,” although it is obvious that the space is not available for parking. Instead, a nearby police station was using the board the sign was on to barricade people from passing through. The message on the board was unintentional.
