
The arrests of Bereket Simon and Tadesse Kassa was an operation led by the Amhara Regional State Police Commission with the cooperation of the Federal Police, people involved in the case disclosed to Fortune.
They were arrested at their respective residences today suspected of corruption during their tenure in charge TIRET Corporate, an endowment company with businesses in brewery, agriculture, transport and agro-industry.
