Abay Bank has waived fees that have been imposed on loan rescheduling, early settlement charges as well as ATM transaction fees as of the beginning of this month.
The Bank, which also decided to reduce meetings and training, has made adjustments following the slowdown that occurred in the economy after the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). To reduce physical contact at the branches, the bank increased the one-time cash withdrawals from ATMs to 10,000 Br. It has distributed sanitary products like soap, sanitizer, masks and gloves to all its employees and has put pregnant women and staff with health complications on leave. It has cut down its working hours from 9:00am to 6:00pm and has its employees working in shifts.
