The parliament has approved the appointment of four ministers today with 21 MPs voting in opposition.
Adanech Abiebie was approved as the country's Attorney General, replacing Brehanu Tsegaye, now appointed as an ambassador. Adanche's portfolio as a minister for Revenues has gone to Laqe Ayalew, who was a vice president of the Amhara Regional State.
Filsan Abdullahi was approved as minister of Children & Youth, replacing Yalem Tsegaye, who was recently appointed as an ambassador.
Lia Tadesse (MD), a state minister for Health, is promoted to the rank of Minister, replacing Amir Amin (MD).
