Prosperity Party Changes Electoral Symbol from Bulb to Wheat

The incumbent Prosperity Party (PP) has announced a change in its long-standing electoral symbol from a shimmering light bulb to a sheaf of wheat for the upcoming national polls, scheduled for June 1, 2026.

The party, led by Abiy Ahmed (PhD), has also updated its motto from "Multinational Fraternity for Mutual Prosperity" to "Ethiopia, Towards an Exemplary Nation!"
