CBE Backs North America Diaspora Festival, Platinum Sponsorship

Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) has signed a platinum sponsorship agreement for the 43rd Annual Ethiopian Sports and Culture Festival in North America, set to run from June 27 to July 4, 2026, at TCO Stadium in Minnesota. The agreement was signed by CBE's Mengistu Solomon and ESFNA Public Relations Head Yared Negash at the bank's headquarters. Mengistu said the partnership reflects CBE's commitment to strengthening ties with the Ethiopian Diaspora while promoting its international banking services. During the week-long festival, the bank will encourage Ethiopians abroad to use official remittance channels and showcase its digital platforms, including Ethio Direct and CBE Connect, for secure and legal money transfers.
