Fewer couples tied the knot in 2022 than the year before; the post-pandemic environment could be attributed to over 12,000 more married couples in that year compared to two years ago. The merriment season for brides, grooms, and families has dawned, and hotels are booked in advance. Wedding planners, service providers and suppliers are anticipating a boom. However, with the high cost of living eroding consumers' purchasing power, couples could face financial stress no less burdensome.
