With smartphones in hand and digital IDs ready, young riders log into the Addis Bike app to rent bicycles for just five cents an hour, cruising as far as Denbel Shopping Centre to then return it to one of the four bike stations in town. Bike lanes meet bold futures in this new urban rhythm.
