Yohannes Ayalew (PhD), former president of Amhara Bank, told the Amharic weekly "Reporter" the circumstances of his departure from the Bank. He accused an unnamed board of directors, which he described as "few", of being bent by a narrow factional interest, against the external auditor's findings and the Central Bank-confirmed report, fighting to control the financial institution.
