Ethiopian Airlines announced today it would resume flights to Meqelle, Tigray Regional State, starting tomorrow, December 28, 2022.
In a statement issued, the CEO, Mesfin Tasew, said that his team is pleased to facilitate the "reunion restoration and opportunities playing a part in the socio-economic development." He was part of the federal government delegation that visited Meqelle for a day, led by House Speaker Tagesse Chafo.
