
Dysfunctional traffic lights lay on the ground around the Meskel Square area. With over 130,000 cars entering the country each year, according to the Ministry of Transport & Logistics, proper development of transportation infrastructure is critical to prevent a high number of accidents. The Ethiopian Roads Administration has 570 projects on its books, requiring 10 times its allocated budget of 35 billion Br.
