Tulip Inn Hotel Opens Doors

The former Water Gate and Water Fall hotel has re-opened as Tulip Inn Hotel after 10 months of renovation and refurbishment. The renovations cost nearly half a billion Birr, of which 85 million Br was used for refurbishment, according to Kumneger Teketel, managing director of Ozzie Business & Hospitality Management Group. The three-star international brand hotel has 109 bedrooms, restaurants, a bar and meeting rooms with 124 permanent employers. Tulip Inn is one of the subsidiary hotels under Louvre Hotels Group with a portfolio that includes more than 2,600 hotels in 54 countries. The new hotel is owned by Mulualem Alene, founder of MSA Oil Seeds & Cereals. It will be managed by Elizabeth Ayele, who has 20 years of experience in international hotel chains. The official grand opening of the hotel is scheduled to take place in December 2019.
