The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA) has authorised three new firms, expanding the total number of licensed service providers to 11.
First Addis Investment Bank S.C. has been approved to function as an investment bank, while Ignite Capital Plc and Zuri Capital SC have been licensed as securities investment advisors.
These licenses were issued on October 1, 2025, during a formal event attended by the Authority's Director General, Hana Tehelku, who stated the importance of these firms in promoting a more robust and inclusive financial system.
