The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority formed a task force with several institutions, in a move its officials say are determined to "fortify the integrity of businesses."
They have entered coordination with Justice and Trade ministries, Financial Intelligence Services, and the Federal Police Commission, targeting potential fraudulent activities in the looming capital market. Another venture with the national ID services and the Information Network Security Agency (INSA) and the Artificial Intelligence Institute are in the pipeline.
Executives and officials are signing these agreements today at Best Western Premier near Wollo Sefer.
