Local College Opens International Academy

Lead Star College of Management & Leadership Plc opened a new international British school, Cambridge Academy at CMC, at a total cost of half a billion Br. The Academy, which rests on 25,000Sqm of land, provides education from kindergarten up to Grade 12. The school consists of five buildings with over 200 classrooms, four libraries equipped with 30,000 books, gyms, a soccer field, a children’s playground and a basketball court. It follows a British curriculum and offers music and art school, showers and a lounge in the compound with 30pc of the teachers from foreign countries. The owners aim to provide international educational opportunities to Ethiopians and expatriates students. The school registers students from three to 11 years old under the primary school, from 11 up to 14 years old under the middle school and from 14  to 18 years old under high school.
