The smart parking system, launched in collaboration with the Oromia Regional State government and Sheger city administration, allows users to locate parking spaces, identify available spots, and pay for services via TeleBirr. It also aims to reduce the time and effort spent on parking, provide secure and reliable services, and ensure accurate payment of fees while helping the city administration identify legal parking service providers, reduce illegal activities, and make data-driven decisions. The system is accessible to both smartphone and regular mobile phone users, ensuring inclusivity.
