Redwan Hussien, spokesperson for the state of emergency tasks force, said this in response to international demand for unfettered access to humanitarian aid in the conflict areas of the Tigray Regional State. His statement followed an incident where UN staff were shot at and briefly detained for crossing two checkpoints heading into refugee camps in Tigray.
