The federal government and the European Union said in a joint statement issued last week after concluding what they described as a "structured dialogue." Ethiopia's team was led by Demeke Mekonnen, deputy prime minister and foreign minister, while Ronald Kobia, EU's ambassador, co-chaired the meeting.
