Reshad Kemal, head of the Federal Housing Corporation, told Addis Zemen, the state daily. He asserted that the properties being administered by the Corporation, before being nationalised by the Derguefrom members of the nobility, belonged to peasants. The Corporation recently raised rental rates for its commercial properties, later revised after an outcry from tenants.
