Siket Bank Records Slight Decline in Profit

Siket Bank has reported a net profit after tax of 1.24 billion Br for the 2024/25 fiscal year, down from approximately 1.6 billion Br in the previous year. The announcement came during the bank’s 3rd Annual General Meeting at Sheraton Addis Hotel on November 29, where Board Chairman Tilahun Worku presented the annual report. Total capital increased to 9.4 billion Br from 7.9 billion Br, while paid-up capital rose to 7.84 billion Br from 6.9 billion Br. The bank’s total assets reached 19.3 billion Br, and its customer base expanded to 615,000, up from 537,000 the previous year.
