Mayor Appoints a CEO for MESOB, the One-Stop Services Portal

Mayor Adanech Abiebie has appointed Yonas Alemayehu, formerly Director General the Civil Registration & Residency Services Agency (CRRSA), to lead Addis Abeba MESOB, the one-stop public services centre.

Yonas has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO), owing to his reform experience at CRRSA to enhance essential resident services. He is recognised for his contributions to operational improvements within the Agency, including the coordination of civil servants across various government departments. He also played a key role in the development of the National ID registration system, thereby improving service efficiency.

The MESOB Center is a novel initiative to consolidate essential public services that requires in-person interaction, providing residents with streamlined and accessible service delivery in a centralised location.
