Ethio telecom introduced a digital marketplace dubbed Zemen Gebeya, integrated within the telebirr SuperApp. The platform connects micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with users across Ethiopia.
The launch was held today, May 8, 2025, place at the Ethiopian Science Museum on Menelik II Avenue.
Zemen Gebeya offers features such as merchant and consumer mobile applications, logistics management systems, and a dispatcher interface. It provides tools for inventory management, digital payments, and marketing, enabling businesses to expand their reach and operational efficiency.
The platform includes products across 14 categories and is accessible through the telebirr SuperApp. Over 42 businesses and logistics service providers, including Shoa Supermarket, have joined the app, offering services to users nationwide.
