Boeing: Focus on Returning 737-MAX 8 to Air

During the company's shareholder meeting in Chicago today, Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg gave a press briefing in which he said "there were a chain of events" and several "contributing factors" that led to the crashes of two 737-MAX 8 airplanes in Indonesia and Ethiopia.

Dennis told the media the company's focus now is to bring the aircraft back to the air after fixing the design flaw in its controlling system.

Airlines around the world have grounded Boeing's 737-MAX 8 model since Ethiopian Flight 302 crashed on March 10 in Ejere, Ethiopia.
