A man rushing up the stairs on top of a makeshift shop towards the light railway system in the Leghar station. This is the first light railway system in Sub-Sahran Africa with a cost of 475 million dollars, 85pc being a loan from the Chinese Exim Bank. It transports close to 120,000 commuters daily. The railway serves the city more than transportation; some make a living on it during daylight, while the destitute cosy up in it at night.
