EthioAirs Trade & Investment has started disinfecting services in response to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The company, which used to provide tour and travel services, human resource management, and event organisation, has started this new venture to provide a service securing environments from the virus.
EthioAirs has been certified by the Ethiopian Food & Drugs Authority to make the chemicals necessary for disinfection and to provide the service.
The company has a chemical production laboratory, protective clothes, chemical spray and cleaning equipment, as well as professionals in chemical engineering and chemical spraying and professionals from the Ethiopian Public Health Institute.
The company, which has been able to provide job opportunities to 100 people through this new venture, is working alongside the Bole District Administration Health Bureau as well as the Food & Drug Bureau.
The company plans to provide the disinfecting services to health institutions, hotels, recreational spaces, factories, transport service providers, shopping malls, and any other institution that wishes to protect its employees and customers.
