A panel discussion was held at the launching event of the Global Hunger Index (GHI) 2021 Ethiopia policy brief by Alliance 2015 at Elilly International Hotel on April 5, 2022. It painted a bleak picture, reporting that humanitarian assistance needs have increased by 40pc compared to last year. It also showed that “progress in the fight against chronic food insecurity and malnutrition is decelerating.”
