Ethiopia generated 5.1 billion dollars in export revenue during the first six months of the fiscal year, surpassing its target of 4.42 billion dollars. The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration reported that this figure represents a 1.83 billion dollars increase compared to the same period last year and matches total revenue from the previous fiscal year. The Minister of Trade and Industry added that more than 2.3 million business registration and licensing services were delivered nationwide, exceeding the initial target of 1.8 million and reflecting a 12pc increase.
