Gudissa Legesse, 51 years old and a father of six, is the new CEO of the 25-year-old Awash Insurance, replacing long-serving CEO Tsegaye Kemsi last month. Gudissa obtained his degree in business administration and a master's degree in marketing management from Addis Abeba University. He has worked in the insurance industry for the past 24 years. Before he joined Awash he served at United Insurance.

Instability and traffic accidents
