Parliament has approved the appointment of Lelise Desalegn as the president of the Federal High Court, replacing BerhaneMeskel Wagari.
She has served in different responsibilities in Oromia Regional State before coming to the Federal High Court seven years ago. Lelise studied law and leadership at Addis Abeba University.
The Parliament has also approved the appointment of Zehara Umer as the deputy president of the Federal High Court.
