DEVELOPING STORY: MPs Elect Deputy Speaker

Lomi Bedo has been elected as deputy speaker of Parliament. Seven members of parliament have abstained from the vote, while 418 voted in favor.

Lomi has previously served as Speaker of the Oromia Regional Council.
