Tax Generates 145.7b Br in Nine Months

Government revenue collection has reached 145.74 billion Br in the first three quarters of the current fiscal year. The revenue was collected from taxes, customs, custom duties and national lotteries, according to the Ministry of Revenues. The value is a 9.1pc increase from the past fiscal year, and 80.8pc of the target set by the Ministry has been reached. For the current fiscal year, the Ministry plans to generate domestic tax revenues of 235.7 billion Br to cover 68pc of the government’s annual budget. For the current fiscal year, the government has allocated a 346.9-billion-Br budget.
