Ethio telecom has launched TeleSign, a digital platform designed to link government systems and shift public services into a fully online experience. The state-owned operator rolled out the solution in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, and the Federal Documents Authentication & Registration Service (DARS). At a launch event held last week at the Science Museum, officials said the platform creates a trusted national digital signature system, allowing citizens to access government services securely from anywhere. TeleSign is positioned to support citizen-focused governance through secure digital identity and authentication, while enabling integrated service delivery across institutions. It also aims to reduce paperwork, improve efficiency and transparency, and expand access to digital services for users at home and in the diaspora.
