Embassy Organises Real Estate Expo for Diaspora Investors

Embassy Organises Real Estate Expo for Diaspora Investors

More than 35 of the country's leading real estate developers are set to showcase their projects and sales models to diaspora communities in the United Kingdom and the United States. The exhibition, organised by the Ethiopian Embassy in London in collaboration with the Ethiopian Diaspora Service and Edmar Ventures, will take place in May and run for three days. The expo aims to provide diaspora investors with detailed information about real estate opportunities, helping them make informed investment decisions and encouraging home ownership in their country of origin. Biruk Mekonnen, Ethiopia’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, said the initiative is intended to expand the diaspora’s access to housing investment opportunities, policy guidance, and financial resources. By bringing together developers, financial institutions, and policy advisors, the event is expected to create a platform for partnership, transparency, and informed decision-making. Organisers say the exhibition will also serve as a longer-term platform for diaspora communities to connect with credible developers and receive guidance on property ownership.
