The Addis International Convention Center is set to host the Big 5 Construct Ethiopia 2026 from April 23–25, with the Italian Pavilion positioned as a key feature of the event. Italy’s investment presence in Ethiopia now stands at about €723 million in foreign direct investment, with around 150 Italian companies operating in sectors including manufacturing, textiles, infrastructure, and agro-processing. The engagement is framed under Italy’s Mattei Plan, which designates Ethiopia as a priority country and includes a €25 million commitment for job creation and sustainable growth. Italian investment is also linked to wider supply chains involving local suppliers, logistics providers, and subcontractors. More than 20 Italian companies are expected to participate in the pavilion, alongside briefings targeting developers and contractors as Ethiopia’s market continues to liberalise.
