More than 597 billion Br in government purchases passed through Ethiopia's electronic procurement platform during the 2025-2026 fiscal year, widening the use of digital systems in public finance. Cooperative Capital Surges as Membership Expands

Ethiopia's cooperative sector raised its capital base by 56.6pc to 21.74 billion Br during the 2018 fiscal year, according to the Ethiopian Cooperative Commission's annual performance report.
