Federal Service Allots 753m Br for Vehicle Procurement

The Federal Public Procurement & Property Disposal Service has awarded 47 suppliers common framework contracts for the procurement of office and IT equipment, vehicles, furniture and other items for 180 federal offices and 45 public universities. The Service has allotted an overall budget of 10.6 billion Br for the procurement, of which 753.4 million Br will be used to buy 342 vehicles for various institutions such as the Office of the Prime Minister and the Republican Guard. The Service also announced that it earned a total of 63.7 million Br from the sale of government property, including old vehicles, last year.
