Ethiopia in Talks with IMF for $3b Finance Ethiopia is under an active talk with the IMF to use its special drawing rights to obtain massive loans insiders say will reach three billion dollars, to support its precarious balance of payments, sources disclosed.
Remained inactive for several years, Ethiopia seeks to use a program under the IMF know as special drawing rights, but the amount its official seek to obtain is far larger than its quota.
