The occasion is the signing of the term of reference for the Establishment of a Steering Committee for the Lamu Port, South Sudan, Ethiopia Transport Corridor (LAPSSET) Program. The program, which also includes Kenya, is the largest infrastructure project in East Africa, with seven key components that will see the Lamu port connected with Juba and Addis Abeba.

Cabinet Approves Public Service Legislation

Council of Ministers has unanimously approved the legislation that aims to raise the competency and professionalism of public service in the country.
