A series of paintings by Worku and Barbara Goshu adorn the Sheraton Addis Hotel's gallery. Inaugurated on February 1 998, the Hotel has been home to several distinguished art exhibitions throughout its quarter-century history. While most of Ethiopia's art history has faded into the sands of time, some pre-Axumite pieces remain in Tigray Regional State. A significant portion of Ethiopia's art comes from the Orthodox Church with remnants from the 11th century still observable sparsely around the northern part of the country.
