Police Arrest Non-nationals for Counterfeiting Money

The National Intelligence & Security Service and the Addis Abeba Police Commission arrested non-nationals who had allegedly been involved in printing forged currency using different devices. Eight non-nationals were caught red handed in Bole Sub-City while making forged currency in two rented houses, according to the Commission. They got caught with 512 dollars in forged notes, 455,200 Br and 1,900 dollars, as well as blank notes to make counterfeit currencies. The authorities also apprehended chemicals and devices that are used to make the forged notes. The suspects are now in custody for the investigation that will begin soon, according to the Commission.
