Sunvado Organic Avocado Oil opened a plant in Ethiopia to process premium organic avocado oil. The factory has completed its first test runs and is now ramping up its organic avocado oil production, according to Ayalkibet Bekele, product manager for the factory. The farmers used the avocado trees to provide shade for their coffee, for their consumption or sold it on the local market at meagre prices.
