The Documents Authentication & Registration Service reported handling transactions valued at about 938.6 billion Br during the 2025/26 fiscal year, with house sales accounting for the largest share. House sales were valued at about 543.8 billion Br, followed by loan-related services at 264.3 billion Br and car sales at 130.6 billion Br. The Service processed more than a million cases and served nearly two million customers during the year, averaging about 6,000 customers a day. Its customers included 1.24 million men and 632,087 women. Digital channels handled most of the workload. About 854,148 cases, or 81pc of the total, were processed through the online system, while 197,105 were registered through the certified documents system. The Service achieved 97.84pc of its annual plan for authenticating and registering reliable documents and reported serving all customers who sought its services. Its Mesob one-stop service processed 54,768 cases and served 83,039 customers, generating 216.2 million Br in revenue. Overall revenue reached about 4.55 billion Br against a target of four billion Birr, equivalent to 113.7pc of the plan. The Service also extended assistance to customers requiring priority support. It served 3,531 persons with disabilities, 4,810 elderly and physically vulnerable customers, and 3,592 pregnant women and customers carrying infants. Another 12,033 priority patients received expedited services, while 100 customers were served at home or in hospitals.
