The Ethiopian Defence Forces Foundation is developing a 23,000sqm mixed-use project in Sar Bet, Addis Abeba, with UAE-based Reportage Properties. Revenue from the development will support condominium housing for members of the Ethiopian Defence Forces, providing a long-term income stream for military housing programmes. The project will feature two modern high-rise towers containing 1,083 residential units, with commercial and recreational facilities, swimming pools and other amenities. Beyond its housing-finance role, the development is expected to create significant employment opportunities and facilitate the transfer of modern construction technology and international expertise to Ethiopia.
