Dashen Bank has signed a partnership agreement with International Finance Corporation (IFC) to increase access to finance for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). The collaboration will focus particularly on women-led agribusinesses. Under the agreement, Dashen Bank will extend up to 20 million dollars in loans to eligible MSMEs, while IFC will provide a 10 million dollars risk-sharing guarantee, covering 50pc of the loan risk. In the 2025 fiscal year, IFC also invested 605 million dollars across the manufacturing, agribusiness, and telecommunications sectors, underscoring its commitment to supporting private-sector growth in the country.
