Ethiopian Airlines signs digital partnership with Nucore Technologies

Ethiopian Airlines Group has signed a strategic agreement with Nucore Technologies, a provider of software solutions for back-office automation, integration, reporting, and analytics serving travel agencies, online travel agencies, aggregators, and corporate clients. The partnership forms part of the airline’s broader digital transformation drive, with a focus on strengthening B2B operations. It is expected to support global retailing standards by expanding NDC-enabled distribution, improving data transparency through system integrations, and providing scalable platforms to support future growth. Bilen Arefaine, Vice President of ET Holiday & Digital/GCIC Sales, said the agreement reinforces Ethiopian Airlines’ commitment to digital innovation. She noted that the collaboration will allow partners to access the airline’s direct content, including NDC-based offers, ancillary services, and hotel packages, supported by multiple payment options through the Agency Portal. The Ethiopian Airlines Agency Portal currently serves more than 2,000 active customers across over 100 stations worldwide, supported by round-the-clock commercial and technical assistance. The airline expects Nucore’s reporting and analytics tools to further enhance the platform, helping partners adapt to the evolving digital travel ecosystem.
