Education Ministry Lowers Cut-Off for University Entry

The Ministry of Education has adjusted the national university admission threshold, allowing students who scored just below the official requirement to enroll. Candidates who achieved between 49.50pc and 49.99pc in the entrance exam will now be considered as meeting the 50pc minimum set by education policy. Officials said the decision aims to prevent students narrowly missing the mark from being excluded from higher education.
