Universal Music Partners with Local Company for Music Distribution

International music under the Universal Music Group (UMG) will be availed and distributed through a local entertainment company, partnering with Sewasew Multimedia. Globally recognised labels, such as Motown and Def Jam and their African divisions will be included in the agreement. The partnership is expected to expand the reach of sub-Saharan music with a 34.7pc revenue growth.

Creditors Open Way for Ethiopia's Eurobond Restructuring
