Ethio telecom Omens High Revenues Amidst Competition Limelights

In an ambitious bid to bolster revenue streams even further, the state-owned Ethio telecom forecasts to generate 90.5 billion Br in the coming fiscal year, anticipating a 19pc upstick from this year. Under Firehiwot Tamiru, Ethio telecom targets to increase subscribers to 78 million while expanding its Telebirr digital platform users which stands at 34.3 million by adding 10 million customers. The telecom announced its second-year implementation of the lead growth strategy at Skylight Hotel, Africa Avenue (Bole Road) last week. During the ceremony, Frehiwot mentioned that the telecom stands on solid grounds to compete with the forthcoming third operator joining the field. The Company plans to expand the 4G and advanced 4G coverage to 140 towns.
