The revitalization of public services in the Tigray Regional State was discussed between officials of the Ministry of Finance and the Interim Administration last week. Semereta Sewasew, the state minister made a visit to the regional state to hold consultive meetings with officials concerning budget, infrastructure and social projects revitalizations. The interim administration had called for urgent budget assistance since the region is not generating any income, and special support is needed to address the gap. The Ministry has allocated more than 45 million dollars for emergency recoveries in the region while public procurement and emergency activities were also discussed.
