Coffee Exporter Firm Eyes Construction Sector

A private coffee producer and exporter company turn its head to construction earning an exclusive right to supply caterpillar machinery (CAT) in the local market. Kerchanshe Trading Plc partnered with Unatrac Ltd, a caterpillar supplier based in Dubai, UAE, to provide complete repair and services for CAT and other machinery. Caterpillar Inc. is a manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, off-highway diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives with 59.4 billion dollars in sales and revenues last year. The agreement to become a sole dealer was signed last week at the Skylight Hotel (Bole Road) while the representative agreement with the company was signed in 2021. Kerchashe under the leadership of Israel Degefa has been engaged in the coffee production and export business. According to the executives, the company is proud to offer a recognized brand to meet the high demand for construction equipment and machinery.
